Hi all,

New member here.

I am on a quest for a moto riding jacket and I have been reading and learning and trying different jackets lately.

I have narrowed down to Schott Perfecto (613 or 618) or Vanson (C2 or Continental Chopper).

I have tried on the following jackets and here are my findings:

Schott 613SH in size 38
- a bit longer than 613
- beautiful shine
- so stiff that the upper collar can't fold underneath the other upper collar when zipped all the way up

Schott 613 in size 38
- fits me quite well
- a tiny bit too much ease at chest area but not bad at all

Schott 618 in size 38
- same as 613 as they are identical in pattern and fit as I understand

Vanson C2 in size 38
- hefty substantial competition weight cowhide
- jacket length and the sleeves are a bit too long
- a bit too much ease at the chest area
- waist area fits me well so size 36 would likely be too tight

Then I learned that Schott made 613US for the Japanese market with different pattern/fit. Based on what I read, they are slimmer and shorter in general.

So I am wondering if I should focus on 613/618 in size 38 or consider 613US in size 38 or size 40.

Does anyone here know what the exact measurements are for the 613US in size 38 or size 40?

The other option is to simply get a made to measure C2 from Vanson.

Thanks very much for reading.

They're literally all the same, except for the Vanson C2. Schott Perfecto models are a rabbit hole of absolutely no consequence to you, as a wearer.

Also, don't get a made to measure leather jacket because it's never made to measure nor you need it. The OTR has got you covered.
