While I will probably regret this down the road, I am letting go of this Seal Platon Dubow that I purchased here over on VLJ in September of 2021.
I have worn the jacket very little. About the only difference from the time I purchased it and now is that there is a light scratch on the windflap, which can be seen in the photos below.
This is tagged as a size 48, however it fits like a roomy 44 or a somewhat smaller 46. Platon stopped making the 48 shortly after he started making jackets (and I am not sure he's making them at all, now), so this is a rare jacket. I can't imagine there are many of these out there.
The grain on this thing is amazing.
Jacket Measurements:
Pit to Pit, front: 24.5"
Shoulders: 19.0"
Back, from base of collar to bottom of waistband: 23.0"
Front, windflap: 22.5"
Sleeve, from epaulet to cuff: 24.5"
For reference I am 5' 8" and weigh 175 lbs. I wear a 42 suit and a 16 x 33 dress shirt and have a 34" waist. This jacket fits me perfectly.
