IG keeps spamming me with FCL pics and I love it. I hope that one day I'll meet someone who owns this jacket so I can see it in person. I just can't seem to figure out what kind of leather is it exactly.

I'm surprised to see that stamped buckle! Especially on a jacket in that price range. It should be solid brass! I'm not a stitch nut or detail obsessive as some around here but a finish detail like that can't be overlooked!

Was thinking the same though I don't recall ever seeing a solid brass buckle on a Schott so maybe FC was going for accuracy on that one as well. But it'd certainly do a lot for the jacket, no doubt there. If I ever buy one, I'd look into having the stamped buckle replaced with a nice solid one. Aero's using a perfect belt buckle. That one'd make a great replacement.

agree about the buckle seeing the concave side is underwhelming, probably the limp belt on these are expected to be "customed" by the end of the production line anyway, why waste on good buckle :D.

Thats dope. I hate langlitz leather options with 1200 up charge, joke to me, I wonder if they would let you provide your own leather?
Totally agree. I couldnt afford that thing. But it sure is beautiful. Langlitz leather options are very odd all things considered. But hey if I win the lottery Im buying it for @JMax , its 100% his style, and he would rock it ha. Althought it has plenty of likes from the Asian market, and one commenter asking if it could be shipped to Hong Kong, so I better win quick!

It's... Well, not that simple. It was a very complicated case that my family initiated. I had no clue this was even going on, only found out about it later on and by then everyone else was dead, even most of the opposing party. I could've either given up on the land or pursue it and I figured if so much time & money was already wasted on it, I'll see it to the end, whatever the outcome (which wasn't looking favorable). And I have and won but it wasn't cheap. Wish my folks lived long enough to see it finished. We'd have a celebration. Now I can't even do that 'cause there's no one to celebrate with. Life kinda sucks. Then again, I'm still alive and healthy so it's all good.

@Monitor I would definitely recommend to visit a store which offers FCL jackets or trying to find someone who can show one of their jackets in person. If you're searching a type of HH offered by LW, then FCL isn't the right choice despite the leather thickness of 2mm (FCL Leon) as the overall weight of a 4oz LW compared to FCL 2mm HH is totally different - FCL is definitely more like a mid-weight HH jacket (similar to Aero Vicenza I would say). The HH itself is very smooth and soft and I really like their silk lining (I would say similar as LW's silk lining). The construction and stitching quality are flawless - they also have high and accurate stitching count like LW. The sizing can be tricky - even trickier than other Japanese makers (Freewheelers, Rainbow Country, The Few to name a few) as IMO the shoulder - chest proportions are not really constructed for Europeans....mine fits me well but could be better. The zippers are also different compared to other high-end makers...not sure if quality is worse, but they are different. If you're looking for a mid-weight, easy pull-off, everyday wear jacket, then it's the way to go, but check out for the leather and size - the leather is not everyones taste whereas the aging / teacore effect of FCL for sure is unprecedented IMO.
