I think those plain nickle/ silver hardware ruined them, why don't Lewis just order a custom button cap in gunmetal, brass, and silver, and just use that instead of that leather patch to protect their brand and look subtler and nicer doing it

Not my usual style, but this Langlitz and ShipJohn collab is looking good with some wear:

I know right, I saw the "starting at 1200" on the web site only to find out that 1200 is the lower down payment depending on which hardware you get, anyway BUZZKILLThis is really nice but it's not $2400 nice.
The black leather on the front even looks like the older comp weight Vanson...Look at this absolute belter from Four Speed Leathers :

Your old Bates immediately came to mind for me, too. They stole my Bates!
Sorry to dig up an old thread but I thought this might be where to ask my question...does anyone know who made this jacket? I like so much about it from it's simplicity to the heaviness of the leather. Any help would be much appreciated! View attachment 167122
looks like "ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH" jacket to me. It's a fashion jacket, but its fine. Probably only "fashion" brand actually worth considering imho.Sorry to dig up an old thread but I thought this might be where to ask my question...does anyone know who made this jacket?
I’m excited that someone is finally making a leather Chimayo jacket, but because it is RRL I’m terrified by what the price might be...

Because the patch has been there since the 60’s some like it some don’t but it has always been there.

I wasn't really sure where to put this. Sadly it's just a fashion jacket, but I absolutely adore the retro 60s-ish vibe and colouring.
Where I am at the moment, I'm not looking to buy another jacket unless it can serve proper duty as a riding jacket - so this one's out of the question. But where can I find something similar that will work on the bike?
