Apparently those miniature jackets are meant to be salesman samples which back in the day I assume were given away for free while potential resellers were thinking to become stockers for the brand. At least this is what I think to remember I read somewhere.

You mean that we were supposed to exchange them for the real thing? Damn!Back in the 30s-50s(?) in the US, comnig up to Christmas you could buy little miniature fedoras. They acted as a sort of gift token, the idea being if you wanted to buy someoned a hat for Christmas but didn'tg know the size, you paid for it and gave them, one of these, which they then exchanged aftrer Christmas for the correct size hat. Don't know if they ever did anything similar with jackets, but the idea of sales sampes for quality of workmanship makes sense.
Isn't it amazing? At some point, I may have to consider going through TB for a Thedi.
Wow! Any more photos or a link?
That is nice, although anything with a mouton collar is like catnip to me for some reason.

My Dads leather jacket, that originally belonged to his uncle. It is made in Finland, probably in the 50's/60's by Friitalan Nahka since 1892. Sadly they went broke in 2010.
This Cascade.
