When I saw this photo of these mystery hats I thought. A Mallory and what appears to be a Resistol Open Road style hat.

the Mallory was in fact a Mallory Ten

The Open Road style turned out to be a Beallcrest 5XXXXX Kingston

But who made the Kingston for 3 Beall Brothers 3? Stevens? Adam?

tag inside the sweat matches quite closely to one on another Open Road style hat that crossed my path.... one made by.... Resistol

Yea, baby. Great hats fella's.

To nice to pass up even if it is only a size 7 1/4:

Ed @Desert dog I’d have given you first crack at it if it was one size larger.

Anyone here win this "Vintage Stetson Women's Hat"? I was in early (and out about as quick).

If no one here, then I bet it ends up in the 'Bay as an 1849 vintage BOP. :D

Nice grab, Brent!

Busted. Got silly but it checks a lot of boxes. I don't think the BOP was in production like this in the 60s. I figure, as sweat reads, it was a custom for a 49er member.
