The best part of The Lounge is the people. Lots of diverse personalities and some genuine friends. John @moehawk turned me onto this hat and I couldn’t buy it fast enough. Thank you, John!

A 7 5/8 long oval *******! Miracles do happen.

That’s a super sweet *******. The color is outstanding! Looks like vanilla ice cream!
Glad you got one Brent!

Glad it was still there for you! It will look great creased.
TBH, I did (very) briefly consider buying it myself and putting it up on the Classifieds for $250.

Thanks Bowen!
I am still alive and kicking, just trying to spend way less time online.
I noticed the other day when I went to take a pic how long it had been since I used my camera for anything but a selfie...
I gotta remember to stop in and say hi more often. The real world is much less civilized and nowhere near as well-hatted as this little corner of the internet.

Thanks, John! I think there will be some sleepless nights of anticipation.

You know you're getting older when you are spending sleepless nights thinking about THESE *******s...

This size 7 for $40 shipped is tempting. I’m trying to not buy anymore hats that aren’t my size, but when I see hats I’ve never seen the temptation is still there:

A rare occasion when self constraint won out and I left it for someone else.

Is that a soft felt or a derby/bowler?

I’m not sure. All I have is the listing and it’s vague. I assumed it was a stiff felt which probably means it’s soft.

By the looks of it that is a derby/bowler. That liner is to die for.

Justin had a Manleigh hat for awhile before listing it in the classifieds. Nice looking hats.

Just bought this Marshall Fields from Garrett last night. I don't know what he was doing up at 2.30 am, but I couldn't sleep 'cause I had yet another biopsy taken.
It's a 7 1/8, but I think some Pecard Antique Leather conditioner and a month on a custom band block will do the trick.
