Yes, down to $18 + $12 ship. It looks very old but it appears the sweatband is missing so I don’t want to mess with it.

A riding hat makes sense to me. I found another one referenced in 2015:

I was expecting it to be older. The style of the factory label is 1940s plus/minus a few years.

It didn’t look like it. No liner and all they showed of the sweatband was a “3X Beaver” stamp that didn’t look like any Stetson marking I’ve seen. The price was right.

I am not sure of this Borsalino's age. Is it pre-1960? I would think it isn't, but the tag in the last pic has indentations all around, which I have read means the hat is older. Then again, others have said it is not. It is unreeded and has a felted edge.
Opinions, please?

In the "ones that got away" column. Did anyone here end up with this 1900 - 1915 Stetson derby? I was in it for a bit, but it was not my size and pre-damaged (saving the shipping carriers the trouble). Not often seen in this color.
