What? 11 whole hours have passed since the show ended, and noone has posted any comments on last night's Oscars? Let me start by complimenting Penelope Cruz for her 1947 gown, was it Dior? Whatever, very nice. And the guys . . . oy. That's about the best I can say for them.

Ann Hathaway had my other favorite dress of the night.

I also loved the set, the great fun that Jackman brought to the show, and the wonderful way that the best (supporting)actor/actress awards were presented by a panel of previous winners. With the exception of the Seymore Phillip Hoffman slip, and whatever Anthony Hopkins bumbled, it was great. I was especially surprised by DeNiro's great words for Sean Penn.

For me, Kate Winslet's speech and the whistle from her dad was the highlight, while the "did that really happen" award goes to Kunio Kato, who won for animated short, when he ended his speech with "domo arigato Mr. Roboto."
See it here.

Cruz's dress was Lanvin. SJP's dress was Dior Couture.

Cruz's was amazing, as was Natalie Portman's. I didn't care for SJP's or Jennifer Aniston's, though SJP certainly looked busty in hers! I've never seen her look that way before. ;)

Nothing against Anne Hathaway or Penelope Cruz - both of whom are gorgeous! - but I really liked Tina Fey's dress. It was extremely flattering, and made me look at her in a whole new way.

Heidi seems to be getting rave reviews but I don't love this look

I liked this until Perez Hilton rightly pointed out that it's the Good Witch's costume in Wicked:

This is too much boob and not enough interest for me:

Beyonce has a great figure but this dress is in poor taste I think:

I want to love this, and I do love it from the back, but I'm not loving the front:

I liked Angelina's dress, and Tina Fey was stunning. Apart from the dress (undecided), Kate Winslett always looks supremely sexy and confident. Great hair/makeup.
