FWIW, I have the Original Forty Seven panama and it is a terrific hat.

The brim and crown are as advertised. I'll measure it when I get home, but here is a photo of me testing it out a couple of days ago.
Sweet! I hope mine has come in. I don't think I've received an email as of yet.Caribou Premier Stratoliners have come in and we shipped out orders today.
Jeff
Mine is supposed to arrive today.
I will report.
What size does he wear?
Did you ever get your Forty Seven foldable, Rick? How do you like it?

Me likey. Are the new caribou Strats coming with this lighter ribbon? If not maybe they should!
Pls. forgive the lateness of my reply. It is hella busy at work & I am runnin' around like a head with it's chicken cut off.
Short answer - Yes w/ a but & No w/ an if.
I prefer the toquilla straw model.
I am finding the brim on the folder difficult to 'snap' to my satisfaction, although I have had the same problem w/ toquilla straw hats as well, I am not sure if is the material or what?
Great proportions, fit is spot on.
The finish is indifferent -my bow is about 1/2" too far forward.

Hello everyone, I am new to the lounge and would like to throw out this question. Is there a way to find out positively if the caribou stratoliner is, or will be, coming out with lighter colored ribbon? I have been considering ordering one the caribous from Delmonico Hatter but will hold off if the light colored ribbon version will be available shortly.
