Open Crown Stetsons: A Call (Plea) to Retailers!!

Not to defend Hatco, but they did try an open crowned hat in the Nostalgia. How many of us stepped up and bought one? And yes I'm as guilty as anyone. Liked the hat, wanted to buy one, but kept finding other things to waste my money on (junk like food and house payments - what a waste!). Then it was discontinued and now I wish I'd bought one. Will they take a chance like that again? Probably not.

I bought two and then fixed them to what they should have been with brim binding and ribbon changes. Quality on the hat was poor.

I, too, bought a brand new Nostalgia. I was not impressed with it at all. On the other hand, I recently saw one of the new Stetsonians and that is a great piece. I was very impressed with that.

I just pulled the trigger on a Stetson Premiere Stratoliner in black. I needed a matching hat to go with their Fashion Collection version acquired previously, in silverbelly. Anyways I placed today's order via Delmonico's taking advantage of their VALENTINE coupon code for $10 off which dropped the price to $215.

Anyone have any thoughts to share respecting their black Premiere Strat?

It's very quickly become one of my favorite hats. Mine runs a hair on the large side, but it's a very nice hat.

I wish these new models came in a 7 7/8, I'd be all over a black Stratoliner. Hard to find a thin ribbon bound edge hat in black. Frank

Premire Stratoliner in Cornhill for me from Delmonico as part of my month long 60th Birthday Celebration. I would have gone for the Stetsonian but I have a VS in exactly the same colors and ribbon sizes. Thank you to everyone who made it possible to get one of these.

I love this fuzzy Knox, and it's an unusual color combo that I don't have. Is this a bona fide offering, or just a concept car?

Well gang the news just keeps coming out of Garland TX. I was informed today that the Premiere Stratoliner is now available in Caribou which is Stetson's light grey. That makes four colors for the return of this classic hat. I can't wait to see what else is coming down the pike.

I love the Caribou color. Just ordered a Premier Strat in Cornhill from your store. The relatively nice weather we are having here in Texas is really making me anxious to order a panama open road. Today would have been perfect for such a hat! Crazy weather after battling icy roads earlier this week. Hopefully the panamas will be ready for sale shortly!

Tommyk, I am right there with you! A grey Stetsonian would be the bee's knees.

And I have to agree with Seabass that the fuzzy Knox looks sweet.

It's great to sees such offerings coming from Stetson!
