Separate from all that, as this is just a personal preference, but if I never smelled tunafish again - ever, anywhere, anytime, in any form - my life would be improved. My mom used to eat that stuff and it made me sick to just be in the room with an open can. Again - I am not suggesting any policy or that my opinion is anything more than that, but since we can post opinions, my opinion is that I'd love to never, ever, ever smell tunafish again.

The problem with teaching a man to fish is that eventually that fish finds its way to the microwave in the office break room.

the smell of a friend's house, they have rottweilers that live in the house and they keep all the widows closed, smells like a dirty dog smell / dog house, almost unbearable, they dont notice it but it smells awful, dog odors and dog hair everywhere, even the couch smells like a dog's bed.

1. Rancid machine oil stench of skunk odor in the summer. I have yet to actually see a skunk but I know they're there because I smell them.

#3 Feed Lot - Cattle poop never bothered me until they pour the corn to them . I can smell it 100 miles away .

I still enjoy Ovaltine, but it is not the same as when I was a kid. I've gravitated to U-Bet and even a regional brand called Waldon (they make a wonderful caramel flavored syrup). I drink several glasses of milk a day, but can't drink it without a flavoring of some sort in it.

I believe we’ve mentioned this before but like you, I cannot drink milk unless I add
some chocolate powder or syrup.

I’ve found that by blending Hershey’s unsweetened chocolate powder (has to be heated with milk
otherwise it won’t mix at all with cold milk)
combine the Hershey’s syrup once it cools down with Carnation Malted powder, I can get a slight
taste of the way “chocolate malts” used to taste in the past.
LizzieMaine once told me that Britain still has the malt powder the way I remembered.

On another topic...
She also told me what to use to replace the starch powder that is no longer available.
But I forgot to right it down.

That was my family's chocolate syrup of choice, at least until I became a diabetic and later discovered I had a lactose intolerance. Sort of killed one bird with two stones.

Lactaid became my friend years ago, but didn't exist when I was a kid. As for sugar-free or low-cal anything, I figure why bother if it doesn't taste good. That eliminates about 90% of stuff that I shouldn't eat, anyway.

the smell of public library chairs that have a strong urine odor & feces from homeless, so strong your clothing will smell after you leave, your clothing will require proper disinfection to get rid of the odors and contamination.

avoid public chairs / seating on subways / public transportation with cushion padding that cannot be kept sanitized, body fluids, sweat, urine soaks into the fabric.

the odor can get pretty bad.

Yeah, NYC subway cars have their own distinct smell, but nothing that rubs off, as all the surfaces are plastic.

LIRR cars are most often not frequented by homeless, so they generally don't stink.

We used to have a customer here we called "Santy Claus," because he was a heavy old man with a big white beard, and he had the most nostril-curdling case of BO I've ever encountered. He wore greasy, dirty clothes, and would spend a long time in our upstairs restroom to the point where I had to block the door open overnight after he'd been there to roust the funk out. We all figured he was homeless, and we took pity on him and never tried to interfere with him or discourage him from coming to a show now and then if he had the money to buy a ticket.

And then one day I saw him in a high-end burger restaurant down the street eating a $15 hamburger while looking at what appeared to be a stock portfolio on his Iphone. He wasn't homeless at all, or even poor -- he just didn't care what he smelled like.
