Thanks for the update,Bob.Years ago,I was in your fair city pretty frequently doing insurance business with PJC Insurance at Highway 13 & I-44.A bit remodeled, but yes.
Wild Bill's at 65 & I-44 is long gone!...at Highway 13 & I-44.
I agree, to recreate the images from what is left on Google would be cumbersome. Here is my collection off my hard drive:It is an absolute shame what happened to this thread because of photobucket being complete garbage
There has to be something that can be done ... this thread is far too valuable to let decay
Anyone ???
This has been happening with a LOT of great threads.......I agree...it really is a shame. AND this is still happening even with new posts.......As you and I know, people can post here directly....(though I am not sure how long those photos last) but MANY do not seem to know this.............perhaps some new information or alerts from the administrators would help.....It is an absolute shame what happened to this thread because of photobucket being complete garbage

My hard drive is hosting all of my photos now. My flickr account also keeps them around. I had a photobucket account years ago but let it lapse. When I find them on Ebay or Google, I save them to my hard drive. They always come in handy for discussion here.In the third ad down, the Stetson Aviator. Was that the Stratoliner's predecessor?
It's interesting seeing the evolution of some of the well known hats over time, like the Flagship and Stetsonian, as well as hats that have been completely unknown to me.
Bump of a worthy resource. Read backwards and you will avoid Lefty's sadly missing photo links.
