Mark does some of THE BEST work out there. Very skilled. I owned one of his custom jackets at one point - super work

Brett,
Your NS1 is one of the best-looking jackets I've seen. Just different enough in design and goatskin to boot. Very unique. I really like his NS2 as well, but don't need another traditional halfbelt. I feel I could rock the NS1, but it's so unique looking my wife would quickly realize that I've bought another expensive jacket. A traditional half belt would blend in to my wardrobe, but the NS1 is an attention grabber.

Thank you for the generous compliments, Grayland! And I couldn't agree more. This jacket remains my favorite. It's like a work of art IMO. And Mark's customer service and craftsmanship are second to none. He actually reached put to me after he read a post where I commented on the somewhat sagging lining offering to fix it free of charge. And in doing so he also successfully extended the sleeve length by about 1/4".

My next jacket is going to be an NS2 in seal.

Me thinks your wife will approve of an NS1 ;)

Yeah he's adding two more models as well. Cali and a cossack...I'll be watching him closely. Stuff looks really, really good.

Those jackets are on their Facebook page? Its blocked here at work so I'll have to check later.

Unless you post the pics here then I can have a look.

I really like his jackets especially the NS1 and NS2. When i was planning my modified Sunburst I almost ditched it for an NS1; only the availability of Red Fox through Thurston Bros sealed the deal. Would still love an NS1 one day.

I'll jump in here with some pics of a custom jacket Mark made for me back in 2010. It was based on a 1941 Army field jacket, minus the buttons. I don't know where he sourced the hh, but, I've never seen anything like it before or since. It is an amazing jacket. Mark does outstanding work. Enjoy.

I REALLY like that! It's reminds me of a cross between an A2 and a bootlegger!

You know if I had not known better, especially where the first photo you posted is concerned JM, I'd have thought that was a vintage jacket from 75 or 80 years ago. The grain in the leather, the design, everything about it screams authenticity. Brilliant work from Mark!

This thread is long overdue for a bump!

Just scored this early horse hide Norshor off the bay for $300. It is my first from Mr. Fisher but hopefully not the last. A pattern I've not seen before - civilian A-2 with D pocket.

Its an earlier production jacket which Mark says was made to measure.

Comes pretty close to a size 40 though:

Chest: 21 1/2”
Shoulder: 18”
Sleeve: 25”
Back: 24 1/2”
