The jacket looks solid on you. I really like how you paired all the colors together in your outfit. Awesome lizard too!decided to one of reptile study sites in the city while walking to dinner with the wife. First time wearing the stockman out View attachment 695731

Love the camel lining with that black steerhide. Looks great on you!Received my Rugged West jacket today in black steerhide. Fits very nicely and looks good. I wanted a jacket I could layer a thick shirt underneath. Stitching is flawless to my untrained eye. Leilah did a good job.
So is that the actual "oil black" or the "blackened brown" or the "seal brown"? All the historic 1.4mm steer options are confusing me quite a lot?Received my Rugged West jacket today in black steerhide. Fits very nicely and looks good. She introduced me to this leather as her black teacore steerhide. The leather I recieved is very black, I would say jet black. The leather is soft and easy to wear straight from the box. It's slightly oily to the touch, but not sticky. It's not squeaky at all. It doesn't smell bad, but like a previous post mentioned, it smells like new furniture leather. I don't mind it all, it's very faint. So is that the actual "oil black" or the "blackened brown" or the "seal brown"? All the historic 1.4mm steer options are confusing me quite a lot?
