Looks like a nice jacket. For a long time I liked my leather jackets only either short or over the knee-length, but I've recently been coming round to the idea of something in this sort of mid-length, work-jacket style. I too would lean to the view that this sort of shape of simple work-wear type jacket benefits from a mid-weight hide with more drape from the get-go; I'm a big fan of goat myself.

I am considering goat but the only experience I have with goat is at the local Punjabi restaurant where it comes smothered in curry sauce.

I am leaning toward mid weight horse for a Monarch.

Both are as practical. I like goat because it doesn't look 'worn out' the way horse can after a few years, though that might make it less appealing to some.
