The book by Cormac McCarthy is good too. And along the same line are "Suttree" & "The Crossing". McCarthy is a great novelist & you either love or hate the way he writes.

Jeez, the guy on the right (Pedro Pascal) is channeling a young Burt Reynolds. I haven't seen the movie either, so I don't know if that's intentional.

I was watching the Last Tycoon and was struck by the hat Kelsey Grammer's character wore. It was a fedora and at some angles it looked to have a brim that was at least 3.5" wide! It made quite a statement.
This is a poor image and the angle does not give the proportions. The show is mediocre, but the costuming is superb.

Never had the Single Malt but I have had their blended whiskey with no age statement. For it there is better whiskey at the price point.
