Don't know how you do it, (and believe me, in this case 'size doesn't matter'), but you 'always' seem to exude so much character and presence my friend. I now have 'forever imprinted' in my mind, that fantastic and atmospheric photo of you and the 'wee boy' walking along the railway tracks like a scene out of the Depression Era. Just love it!! it sort of hits the right 'nostalgia' buttons with me. I really must get over to Carolina one day and explore the old back roads that I'm sure still harbour many 'golden era' scenes ;) Thanks for another 'winner' of a photo.

Thanks for the compliment. Should you ever find your way over here, I'd be more than glad to show you around. One of these days I would like to take a trip across the water, as my family hasn't been "home" since the mid 1700's. If I ever get there, I'll look you up as well.

WFB_bowtie_1.jpg

This is the first time I've worn a bow tie since I was a youngster back in the early 1960's (other than with a tux). I received several compliments on the tie, but I'm still not sure if I like the look.

great looks guys!

Big Man it looks really good imo. I'm sure it looks funny to you in the mirror, but that's normal with stuff like bow ties that one doesn't wear all the time. But I think you're definitely pulling it off. The solid color helps.

The bowtie looks great, seriously, 10 + +, and thats a lovely photo too.

I know this may sound really stupid, but what does 'imo' mean?

Reminiscent of William Jennings Bryan ...

I've never before been compared to William Jennings Bryan. Thanks (I think [huh] ).

Tying the bow tie was not as hard as I thought it would be, although to get it "right" will take a bit of practice. But, if someone as great as WJB can wear one crooked, who am I to worry about mine not being perfect. :)
