Those have been my favorite specs for some time now, although I have a hat coming that is 6" x 2-3/4"... looking for an extra deep diamond crease on it.

Just to clarify, though, it's bunny, not beaver, correct?

According to his website, he doesn't offer beaver in powder blue.

I was under the same impression. I ordered mine in bunny and he informed that the hat body he had purchased to use for my hat had a number of issues so he switched to a beaver body instead. So he does have beaver felts in powder blue as well.
He's an incredibly nice and accommodating hatter. I'd reccomend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

I know Michael always talks me out of rabbit. For the relatively small surcharge it’s hard to not go with beaver. Give Michael a call and let him give you his opinion. He’s a very easygoing guy.

I only have a beaver felt from Gannon but I do have rabbit and beaver bought from the same hatter at the same time. Both are Winchester. While to the eye there is not much difference out of the box between the two after a few years of wear I can see that the beaver felt is holding up much better. Def worth the extra $$$ in my view.

That’s super nice! I’ve been eyeing various powder blue hats lately, at least they’ve been catching my eye. The hat Jeff Ross wears in that bumping mics show, at least in the first episode, really shines. Yours is outstanding!
