Lunch, Anybody?

I doubt that I will ever eat a tuna sandwich again in my life; too many as a child.
Chicken is on my list of “LIKE!”
:D

Everybody has a few foods that are the vampire equivalent of a burning cross: Tuna is one of mine. I don't consider it a food, but something that exists to take my appetite away as even seeing others eat it turns my stomach. In reality, I'm sure I wouldn't, but I believe I would rather starve than eat it.

I like egg and chicken salad very much though, but (and believe me, I'm not a snob - you have to trust me on this one), but I am particular about where I buy those from as bad, funky, etc., chicken or egg salad is not something I want any part of. Cheap pizza - whatever - it's still bread, cheese and tomato sauce / cheap egg or chicken salad and God knows what is going on in there.

Could not have said it better myself.
I've been sick from bad food too many times. I don't gamble anymore

Shrimp jalapeno poppers and frozen margaritas to celebrate what will probably be the last nearly 80 degree day (on a weekend) this year that made this outdoor lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant possible.

I tried a new recipe the other night and had it for lunch today. Still trying to lose weight and low carb works for me, but I was craving pizza. The "crust" of this recipe was cream cheese, eggs, and grated parmesan cheese, baked for 25 minutes, and then you add on your toppings. It was good, but not great. The problem is I LOVE bread (must be the northern Italian in me, maybe?) and I don't know if I'll ever find a suitable replacement.

LOL!!! That is funny!

My "burning cross" foods are cooked oatmeal (but I love oatmeal cookies), cream of wheat (are you sensing a breakfast theme? My mom used to make both and I HATED them), watermelon, musk melon, and anything super spicy.

Lunch = Sandwich

It's always the same here....cheese, tuna, avocado and turkey ham......etc....etc.... lunch is an easy time for me.

Dinner is more complicated = hot meal.:)

We had a work event last night that included lots of appetizers, and so that's what we all ate for lunch today because there was a ton left over. Spinach and artichoke dip with chips, veggies, bruschetta, cheese, etc.
