Thanks, LizzieMaine! Yes, they are definitely still around. In the past they used to publish more frequently, but now they have issues each year. I had a subscription back in the '90s when I was in high school. Bought six copies this weekend and passed them out to family members. :)

I am just gobsmacked that I can post this, but here it is:

My novel, The Stranger from Berlin, is now available for preorder on Amazon. It will be published by Simon & Schuster UK in August 2021.

So the day has FINALLY ARRIVED! (Actually, it was August 10, so more than a few weeks ago!).

My historical novel, The Stranger from Berlin, is now available as an ebook from Simon & Schuster UK. Fingers crossed, it will be released in paperback next year, but a lot of that depends on good reviews and people buying it in ebook.

So if you enjoy historical fiction set on the American Homefront with a dash of romance and a whole lot of mystery, this book is right up your alley. I've included the description below:

She doesn’t know if she can trust him. But she’s determined to save him . . .

Nebraska, 1943: Jenni Fields's husband Danny was killed in action two months ago. Now pregnant with another man's child, Jenni is determined to keep her secret from the small community of Meadow Hills.

Max Koenig fled Germany in 1938, escaping the Nazis and leaving behind a dark secret of his own. Employed to translate a historic German-language diary, Max moves to Meadow Hills, but the overly patriotic community isn’t happy to have a German in their midst.

When the diary goes missing, the whole town thinks Max is the thief. And when local businesses and landmarks start being vandalized with German graffiti, the residents naturally point the finger his way.

Jenni is the only one who believes Max is innocent. Clearly, the diary holds information someone in the town would rather keep quiet. What happened in Meadow Hills all those years ago? And will Jenni be able to prove Max’s innocence before it’s too late?

Here's a link to order it if you're so inclined: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MB9K4FC/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

Wow! This is awesome news! I would LOVE to read your book, but since I am legally blind, I do not read eBooks very well and a paperback copy would take me ages to complete. So, I do best with audio versions of books these days. I hope an audio version will be released one day.

Congratulations on your writing and publishing journey! What an amazing accomplishment! Interesting, how Simon & Schuster UK accepted your book and not Simon & Schuster in the U.S.
