I personally would like to see some fit pics. I know they ultimately don't really matter, especially if you can't breathe well in a jacket but never the less I withhold my opinion until fit pics are posted. I've had a few that aren't that comfortable zipped but kept to wear open. Like a cardigan sweater or something.
I think I know the IH jacket in question and it's a cool one. What say you seb? Throw a fit a fit pic to confound the crowd? I'll bet dollars to doughnuts opinions change.

You're right ton - it's one of the best looking fits I have ever had but I do feel like I'm fighting it every time I move. Kind of the equivalent of a woman wearing 6 inch stilettos, perhaps.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Oh I know the feeling. Like this blue sausage casing. I suspect yours is not this degree of hilarity however.

Hi ton - mine's definitely roomier - this all reminds me a bit of Cooper in this tight Brooks jacket. Can he do his up?

...on second thought, that IH CR is too beautiful to give up on so easily. I'd keep it for a while longer and see if it really bothers me so much. It might actually break in, since you said it's in near new condition. These are some of the nicest CR's on the market.

Hey ton - this shot's for you, man.

Sorry about the quality. To me, more than anything, it shows the limitations of photos. They never really convey how jackets feel. Having said that - I have a cold and have worn this non stop for 2 days to get it to loosen up. While I can still feel my gaul bladder being wrapped around my liver, I'm finding it less unpleasant.

As one who understands your plight... It may be a great jacket, but if it does not fit they way you'd like... flip it. It will only bother you and you will end up selling it at some point. Send it to a good home.

I hate to say I knew it but I did!! Man Seb that jacket looks freaking spectacular!!! It's trim, sure, but that's what CR's are all about. Personally I think it looks brilliant and is a PERFECT fit.

It does look great! But if you were to stand still like that all day if may be fine, but if its uncomfortable lifting arms to eat or moving around in... Let alone inhibiting the natural requirement to breathe... What good is it. Any chance it could stretch out a bit wearing in...?

10/10, would keep without giving it another thought. Sleeves are perfect, shoulders are perfect, length is perfect. It's either this size or you can forget about this IH cafe racer altogether.

I'd flip it, I had a similar issue with my size 40 Board Racer, gorgeous leather and I loved that jacket but it was just that bit too small and every time I wore it I felt I was fighting it.....I put up with it for almost 2 years I think and it never "improved".

If this is the one I ended up buying, I know why you held out. The color variation on that jacket was incredible and I hope my new one ages the same way. Once I got my Aero Seven, I knew i needed to get a slightly longer body and sleeve on a BR (still went with a 40, though and kept the CXL brown). On the plus side, it found a good home!
