That hat is a vintage Adam I got on an ebay auction a couple of months ago. I saw that same photo in the auction listing and felt compelled to get it. Although I know it looks better without my mug under it, here are a couple of photos:

Justdog - that's a beauty - is it commercially available or vintage?

That was vintage and I have the same hat unbashed. I have done some reading here in the old threads and from what has been recommended new vintage would be the http://shop.valleycountry.com.au/catalogue/category1/category13/category54/product334. Akubra Campdraft . I am seriously considering getting this if possible. Here is my version of the previously posted hat. I just pinched the crown and pushed in the top a bit, nothing formal like the other post. This one is at least 50 years old the high back fits my head in such a way strong winds dont blow it off, not great looking but practicle, smile. The Akubra Campdraft in my opinion could be done as a stratoliner or an open road fedora.
