Morreton made in France, I think a hundred years ago, maybe more.
The size, unfortunately, is 56 centimeters and its state of conservation is perfect. I add that I was afraid it was a woman's hat but it is not.

In my opinion it is a hat for young men also because I have seen some worn in France at the beginning of the last century.

The measurements of this beauty are: raw brims at 9.5 centimeters, ribbon at 5 centimeters and the lowest point of the crown is at 13 centimeters.

The felt is thick and very solid.
Notice to sailors in the sea of hats, if for someone this hat is a siren with a mischievous charm, write to me.
Seeing it and not being able to wear it is torture. It can arrive in new homes.

Probably assembled by the Cervo hat factory at the end of the production of Barbisio hats, it uses a fantastic felt for quality, lightness and color.

It is a typical mid-season hat, light, unlined and with a spring sky color.
The characteristics are as follows: Barbisio unlined in light felt with a ribbon of the same material and a zigzag sewn brim, the sweatband is in fabric

I just received this Wright Constellation hat. The sweat band says it is a doe finish and waterproofed. It has a 3" brim, and 5 1/2 to 5 3/4 open crown. It was sold to me as a 7 1/2 but it doesn't have any tags and I'm pretty sure it is larger than that. I'm 7 1/2 LO and it fits front to back but side to side is quite large, but serviceable with some little spacers on the sides. It has some fading and a little staining under the brim but is in pretty decent shape.

Can anyone help me date this Bradford Ltd western fedora? My wife bought a large number of vintage women's hats at a yard sale and this was among them. It's too large for me to wear, and besides, I'm just not a cowboy. My son-in-law actually is, so I'm going to give it to him for Christmas. I did some research on Bradford Ltd. but I wasn't able to date it. I had it cleaned a reshaped, probably a mistake from a collectors point of view, but my son-in-law isn't a collector so if it fits reasonably well he'll probably use it. Any help you could give in dating it would be appreciated.

It's too large for me to wear, and besides, I'm just not a cowboy. My son-in-law actually is, so I'm going to give it to him for Christmas. I did some research on Bradford Ltd. but I wasn't able to date it. I had it cleaned a reshaped, probably a mistake from a collectors point of view, but my son-in-law isn't a collector so if it fits reasonably well he'll probably use it. Any help you could give in dating it would be appreciated.

Ha, pretty cool. I've met G.K. a few times. His shop is small but his craftsmanship is second to none. He was always working on saddles and boot and shoe repairs while letting his employees run the retail side of the business. You might call the shop. They "might" be able to give you some information on dating the hat.

Most here would not put Bradford in the vintage category, but they are good, serviceable hats. I'm sure yours will make a great, everyday working cowboy hat. Best of luck.
