Hunting a buco j-100

It was nearly 4 Aussies as I was going to order one too. Instead, and for a lot less $, last week I got Schott 641XX from Japan. It has an inside pocket. It's similar to the Buco - a classic simple racer. It's as well made as any Aero or Johnson Leathers or Alexanders Leather jacket I've ever owned. It's a lovely thing.

Learnt from my last attempt that sticking to the tried and tested classic model is probably the best idea. I did ask for an inside pocket but Dave was worried that it wouldn't really work.

The jacket has hit Australian shores as of today according to the tracking so it shouldn't be long, hopefully customs won't hold it up for too long.

I got an alert from usps that a camera lens of mine arrived and was processed through customs, took 7 business days after that. I wasn't overly thrilled with the lag. Bloody frustrating. Generally it's 2 days after that to ACT. Hope yours is quicker. I'm dying to see it.

Yep. Not too thrilled. It's usually only 24 hours, I have no idea why it took so long, I thought it might have been "lost"...

So disappointing, got the email update this morning that the jacket has cleared customs and arrived at the post office at about 6am.
Then at 8.30 the concierge tells me a package has been delivered.
Rush down grab the box......and it's just a replacement modem from my ISP [emoji25]
Oh well, should be here tomorrow.

Tried the Few J-100 today, possibly the last few before factory close down. The collar is much higher than RM, so more suitable for someone with longer neck. The hide is thicker than RM and its not shiniki.

That Sucks....what a nightmare. The hardest thing should be choosing what you want and saving the cash, not waiting for a bunch of public servants to pull their thumb out.
