How to get beer stain out of brown leather jacket

Hey everyone, about a year ago I bought a Lewis leathers lumberjack in brown sheepskin leather. Not long after I bought it I noticed it was staining easily which I made a post about. Over the weekend I was wearing it and a very small amount of beer spilt on me. Looks like it has lightly stained the jacket which seems strange.

Any advice about how to get it out?

Thanks!

You can try to use a sponge a try to pat the area with soap water. It may fade the stain.

No real way to avoid stains like these with sheepskin or “naked” leather (those without a sealed topcoat). I have a brand new cowhide jacket in.a natural colour that got a huge stain down the back from dripping water. Part of the journey.
There is no way to really get stains “out”, but you can kind of fade them into the leather. Over time, the jacket will simply look lived in.

Great jacket, by the way. A style not seen to often. It would be great to see it being worn.

Hey Tom, yeah I think you’re right just wear it and make it your own, I actually patted it down with some water and a sponge and seemed to work a bit.

Yeah it’s a fantastic jacket, I tossed up between this and the countryman, but preferred the pocket placement on this one and also the colour of the light brown sheepskin. I was also thinking about a brown Corsair or premier highwayman but thought I should get something a little different to my black Corsair.

It’s also very similar to Alex Turners Brown Celine jacket he’s been wearing a lot in recent years which I’m a big fan of.

Here are some photos of the jacket in action! Yeah there are very few photos of it being worn out there. Maybe a handful on ig.
