How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Found a Beck Northeaster A2 style jacket on vinted. Not seen an A2 style jacket from Beck but hopefully it turns up and fits.

Very similar to a Schott 184SM. Be interesting to see the back (the Schott, like many of this style of civilian flight-style jacket, has a multiple piece back patterned after the USN jackets moreso than the A2). I had a jacket like this years ago, which eventually got passed on when I got more into the milspec jackets. In recent times, I've come to a whole new appreciation of this civilian style of jacket that was popular in the post-war period (and not uncommon even well into the 80s; Schott still produce their version of course). You see these a lot, more often than a milspec jacket on the neorockabilly scene in the UK (and I think across Europe). Partly that's to do with thee being widely available in the 80s when a lot of that revival scene kicked off, but also it's much more reflective of what most civilians actually wore at a certain time. Looks like your original removable warm liner is still intact, which is a bonus. Worth having a look around to see if you can find a mouton collar that fits. These were both common features of the style, though it's very common to see then missing on the used market as they did often get taken off for wearing at certain times of year, then misplaced...

Chicago is like that but dudes hair would’ve been blown back and his face would look (more) pigskin pink. I’ve never wanted a shearling until this past week. I can’t imagine I’ll wear it often but I was caught this year. Felt the burn!
I love shearling and I'm sure you'll look amazing in it Ton(my last post was 100% meant as a compliment but sometimes it's hard to convey in text, especially as a non-native English speaker haha :p) I do really think the jacket look badass, so please update us with a picture when you have it in hand!

On another note, what I would do to be able to grow a beard like mr Hivju(the one in my last post)... life ain't fair sometimes...

After a solid two weeks of absolutely bitter cold in Chicago I finally broke down and bought a vintage shearling. I’m not into the military styles but I do like this one that loos like pieces and parts of a coyote sewn together.

I love shearling, but only have shearling jackets. A coat is still on my list.
But difficult with my measurements. But I have time ;)
The danger is a little bit to be perceived as a cheap Vin Diesel copy lol

Ton what about that two tone Regius, you been wearing that one at all?
I have! I just don’t post it often. It’s perfect for cold and dry. Insanely heavy. I wear that one most when I have to be outside walking. The shearling I picked up is mainly for being in the yard with the dog. Reg jacket is too nice for that work!

Oh I agree with the GOT reference 100%! It also reminds me of those 80’s cigarette ads with some leather faced dude puffing his way to an early grave on horseback.

Just got this Dickies duck-canvas jacket delivered, I've been after a tan/beige casual "beater" jacket I can just throw on and don't have to worry about getting dirty/beat up.

Nothing fancy at all, but when I saw this one selling for 60% of the retail price I decided to pull the trigger.
I really like how comfy it is and how easy it seems to match with my usual wardrobe, and with the discounted price I'm super happy.

This is a size S, and seems like I could go down to a XS but this was the smallest they had so it'll have to do(and I can always modify it myself later if I want) :D

Cheers!

Don’t modify it. That’s how that jacket is supposed to fit

Arrived today - a stock Premiere Highwayman in Jerky HH Black, size 44.

This is my 2nd Aero, I bought a made to order Hooch Hauler around 2 years ago which was made as size 42 but I feel less constricted (especially in the back) by it than this one, not sure if it's the Hauler pattern or the break in.

I like it so far, but definitely feels like a t-shirt only, unzipped kind of jacket.
The only kind of leather jacket I like to wear

Yes, Marlboro Man in winter. Maybe you can do a pimp in it too, just need a wide-collared shirt, a flashy hat and some bling...:)
