How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Found a Beck Northeaster A2 style jacket on vinted. Not seen an A2 style jacket from Beck but hopefully it turns up and fits.

Very similar to a Schott 184SM. Be interesting to see the back (the Schott, like many of this style of civilian flight-style jacket, has a multiple piece back patterned after the USN jackets moreso than the A2). I had a jacket like this years ago, which eventually got passed on when I got more into the milspec jackets. In recent times, I've come to a whole new appreciation of this civilian style of jacket that was popular in the post-war period (and not uncommon even well into the 80s; Schott still produce their version of course). You see these a lot, more often than a milspec jacket on the neorockabilly scene in the UK (and I think across Europe). Partly that's to do with thee being widely available in the 80s when a lot of that revival scene kicked off, but also it's much more reflective of what most civilians actually wore at a certain time. Looks like your original removable warm liner is still intact, which is a bonus. Worth having a look around to see if you can find a mouton collar that fits. These were both common features of the style, though it's very common to see then missing on the used market as they did often get taken off for wearing at certain times of year, then misplaced...
