Is this an original belt? I thought they came with one of these. Or did this particular model with the patch pocket have a different belt? Those rivets do perfectly match with the snaps on the jacket.

The seller stated that the belt has never even been fastened. I can post some photos once it arrives.

I bought this lot for $45 b/c I want the short green Grais.
It’s a buffet of junk leather but I kind of dig the Grais.
The other two are Lakeland and Cresco. Free to a good home. Or a bad home. LOL.

My $15 box of 70’s trash arrived today. I actually like this green Grais ok but my God. It smells like Phillip Morris died in it with a cig in both nostrils, both ears, mouth and butthole puffing an 80 year chain smoking marb red marathon. I threw it in the washing machine with dish soap.

There’s something kind of vaguely Cossack cool about it…and it also kinda sucks ass all at once.

Hello! First time caller, long time listener here.. this forum has been a great resource but I figured I would finally make an account as I may have something to contribute... About three years ago now I bought a Buzz Rickson William Gibson horsehide peacoat, I had been eyeing it for a while and thought it was long sold out until one miraculously appeared for sale. I snatched it up only to be evisceratingly disappointed, particularly in the 'tea-core' finish of the hide which quickly became a mottled brown mess! The coat fit nicely and the construction is great but I just couldn't get over such a cheap looking finish on a supposedly premium product.
The search thus continued and I last year acquired a very lovely Made in UK 'Indian Motorcycle Co.' half belt in a pitch black chrome tanned steerhide. Around the same time I stumbled upon LOST WORLDS and resolved that, though I would continue plumbing used listings.. the answer would probably in the end be Lost Worlds. Now I've just wrapped up the process of spec'ing a coat with Stuart and should have it in 4-6 weeks, I'll certainly post some photographs here when it comes in! In the meantime I'm hoping to move this Buzz Rickson.

I took delivery yesterday of my horsehide Lost Worlds vintage trench and it is everything I thought it would be and more! Stuart was wonderful to work with and accommodating when I inquired about changing the size of the coat shortly before it went into production. The fit is absolutely fantastic and the grain of the hide is unlike anything I've seen before, total old world vibe! This weekend I'll take some nice photographs I don't want to post anything here that wouldn't do it justice.

Man you are clearly in shape, there is no way I could pull off jackets as tightly fitted as you wear. Mind you, I like a bit of room to move and layer and so slightly looser fit is just me. Fantastic green!
