Worst case scenario, I replace the hem band with corduroy and wear it as a reversible.

officially put the deposit down on the CXL natural HH route 66 from Aero. Nothing against thurston bros but Holly was super helpful with my first jacket and really nailed what I wanted, so I see no need for the fit jacket. Unfortunately it probably wont be cold when I get it but still looking forward to it. This is my one last big purchase (for a while), since the missus and I are about to have a big move in more ways than one

Well then: congrats on what is sure to be a great jacket AND on the big move (in every way)!

Fits a bit like mine. Greg may have struggled a bit with patterns in his early days. Zipped-up, mine had a bit of a „beak“ too, but it eased with wear as the large front-panels got more drape. Worn open, it’s a killer jacket.

Ha. Honestly I just focus on the jacket. It’s what I do here too. I enjoy fit photos but they don’t help me in any real way.

As I understand it, they simply walk around their facility and tap folks to go get photographed in jackets. Better ways definitely exist lol.

Jokes aside, all those celebs wearing their jackets look great, but the author’s vintage race jacket looks terrible on her (and I usually think it’s much easier for women to pull off a variety of silhouettes than men)
