How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

A Polish equivalent of Dena. A true magician, did 4 of my jackets. Specializes in biker jackets that have met the pavement, but does vintage jackets as well. I can provide info to those who are interested; makes most sense for those who are Europe-based due to shipping. I do business with her when I am there.

I do like this jacket. I don't recall seeing a Spiegel of this quality ever. The lining and Big Talon look great on this jacket. Why do these remind me of a Durable?

The hide quality on those is very good, nice, stiff (but not too stiff), horsehide.

Good eye! I didn't notice till I went to button up. holes are attached to the lining.

I didn't think I'd ever see this on an US jacket. Hidden button holes like that were often seen (if you'll pardon the horrible pun) on military uniforms at the beginning of 1900's in Europe and I personally think it looks super neat.

Yes, it does give the jacket an Older look. The finish is rather incredible too. I will do some fit pics.

I don't know if Durable made it, but that Spiegel on FB Marketplace is def worth a $200 offer. The guy wants $495, but the zipper is ****** and it's been sitting forever.
1950s are as good as anything, 70s and after are utter ****.

Ah thanks, paid in early September so I assume that he’ll get a start on it soon after xmas.
I’m going for something quite close to that actually; an Edgewater but with a point collar similar to yours, in horsehide and possibly without a liner for a little saving in the sweat department.

I mentioned it a while back, but I finally got around to taking pictures of my vintage G1 after picking it up from the cleaners last week. I've no idea on the brand as there's no tags, but the shearling is cozy if a bit worn, and the wonderfully patinas leather is thick but buttery smooth.

Dickies Lined Eisenhower, Mellow Green

Arrived. Very nice, light weight jacket.
Regular back length just covers the belt maybe a Centimeter more, what is my comfort length for this type. Sleeve length fits my ape arms quite well and shoulder width at **L fits like made to measure.
Will occasionally make some live pix when i got more time.

hi guys
I'd never owned a really nice jacket before and was unsure of where to look. Obviously every store is going to say that they happen to stock the very best, so I was hoping to find some honest opinions from those without skin in the game. out of desperation, after a long search, I stumbled across fedoralounge and for someone who is pretty obsessive it was a nirvana so that you all so much for contributing.

something that someone said really stuck with me - that if I was going to go for it then I should really go for it otherwise I'd be stuck with a jacket that I really liked but didn't love. anyway that got me digging into various types of leather, various manufacturers. and then after that the various processes. I found a jacket I liked but it was chrome tanned and after digging around I decided that that wasn't something I wanted.

I was also made very aware, through reading this site, that the fit can make all the difference. this is where I became a little unstuck because all the makes I was keen to try on didn't have actual stores in London.

but then, late last night, I stumbled upon The Real McCoys store only a few miles away. I spent hours on the site and felt like a kid in a candy store. I was at the store at opening time and it was like walking into a bit of heaven. I tried on the 6 or 7 styles I was keen to have a look at and fell deeply compulsively in love with 2, one of which has definitely been mentioned on here quite a bit:

30s leather sports jacket (nelson)

as well as

Buco J-100 (padded)

now I've always wanted jackets like these but felt I couldn't justify the price. but the way I see it now, having seen so many photos on here and elsewhere of TRM jackets that are 20+years old . . . well, these are jackets I will wear, without the desire to upgrade, for the rest of my life.
