I wonder how much was the jacket. RRL, YSL, etc. are all around $4000 nowadays, it was one of the more posh NYC stores... I'm guessing it actually was more $1000 at the time, in the early 90's.

I’m not sure if it’s just the photograph but it looks like there’s some discoloration, and possibly damage on the right lapel next to the brass snap. Is that just something in the photo or is it really like that?

Its not damaged but there is a darker hue right there, I had a color spot like that on a schott p623 hh #8 jacket as well, I don't know if it happens during tanning? Beats me.

These are in the MAYBE pile. I didn’t want to start a new thread but wondering if anyone had experience with Reb_el before. I’m assuming it is standard low/lowmid grade but the price is right. These are two designs i want but can’t justify buying because they will peg the low end of the annual usage thread. Waiting to hear manufacture location and lead time.

wow, I just search in IG, hmm no price has to ask, and I'm afraid to ask, leather and stitching, seems better than typical indonesian leather jacket websites I've been to. maybe there is a chance for me to have horsehide jacket , i hope it is horse

that makes alot more sense, here I don't even see a horse alive (OK one or two)what a bummer

when I was a child in 80's we still have public transportation pulled by horse, and if a construction site need building material often they came delivered by a cart pulled by a pair of cows dropping lines of cowdung along the road, and in the afternoon I could see farmers brought their water buffalo to the river, I haven't seen them at least in my city the last 25years... many people can't even afford beef for daily meal now.
