I think you are right about this. Apparently they had enough leather to make 10 of these jackets in 2018 and I now have one of them. I can’t wait to see how the leather evolves.

My new Aero Highwayman in natural horsehide finally arrived yesterday:

I won this one off eBay and it appears to be absolutely brand new, I don’t think it was ever worn outside. I’m not sure what leather this is, it is very light and soft with a smooth uniform finish. Fit is pretty good, although it has the classic Highwayman cut that is a bit looser through the body than I prefer.
The leather is absolutely beautiful and it smells great too. I will post some better photos taken in natural light when I get a chance this weekend.

Hey now, don't sell "Old Yellar" short! What that jacket lacked in price, it MORE than made up for in character.

The conversation about jacket redundancy is amusing considering we're all sharing the same ward of the asylum.

Notwithstanding that I already own three black cafe racers (not to mention a brown one), my fourth black cafe racer -- a Beck 666 -- was delivered yesterday. Yes, jacket redundancy is an issue.

Gotta go -- Nurse Ratched (Big Nurse) says its time for my morning meds.

I like it very much. I was worried a medium may be a bit large but the contrary. It fits spot on. Wool is high quality, the real mouton collar is nice and the orange satin lining is thick and very good also.
