Question : Is Aero cotton drill lining (with CXLHH, civilian jacket )going to be too warm to wear in late spring /early summer(Around 67 degree)?
It doesn't looks as good as your vintage MC jacket.
So....send it back?
I would, your vintage MC jacket really looks amazing on you.
But you should listen to yourself instead of others, which is unimportant after all.
Do not release that Schott! You are quite fortunate they fit you so well! It's a beauty and if I could get that fit from them...things would be different.Your response inspired me to place both jackets in side-by-side photos (and I thought others would like the comparison). The Rich-Sher is thoroughly broken in. The Schott fit pics are straight out of the box. The only thing that I don't like about the Schott fit is that roll at the belly. Makes me look like I've got a gut. But it's not yet broken in and might look relax with wearing...and end up as great as the Rich-Sher after a little time.

Almost always too short in the sleeve and body. The one exception being my 118 long. Perfect sleeve but too long in the body. Thanks, sir. What is it about Schott jackets that don't make them a good fit for you?
I’m probably going to get evicted from the lounge for saying this but I’d return the Schott.

NOT because it doesn’t fit well but what’s the difference between them

^ The TFL Effect is alive and well!!!
Gamma, If you are fortunate enough to be retired and can spend all day running around rocking great jackets with a different one each day keep both. Otherwise, with the season for that jacket in Detroit being short enough already you need to jettison one. My opinion is to keep the Schott. Fit looks great and I’ve never been much interested in having the history creases of others on my stuff. Earn your own patina.
If I'm not mistaken, this is from the Aero x Epaulet collaboration. My new Aero Highwayman in natural horsehide finally arrived yesterday:

I won this one off eBay and it appears to be absolutely brand new, I don’t think it was ever worn outside. I’m not sure what leather this is, it is very light and soft with a smooth uniform finish. Fit is pretty good, although it has the classic Highwayman cut that is a bit looser through the body than I prefer.
The leather is absolutely beautiful and it smells great too. I will post some better photos taken in natural light when I get a chance this weekend.
