The Western is a different story, ever since I shaped it plateau-style and stuck a big white feather in the band, I've been wearing it nearly every day to work. I've seen people nearly walk into things staring at my hat. The sheer outrageousness of that particular style makes people smile, no one around here has a hat like that. I've also heard "that man has a nice hat" from passersby, usually elderly women.
ahah just like me. I still see people passing by in their cars and staring at me probably thinking "unbelievable" or "what is that?". Some people say "ye-haw".
This year on Lisbon mini-marathon we came across some stages were performers were singing and acting. Some said on the speaker "what a big hat!" or "look at the sheriff".
Around here I'm known as the cowboy. No one have cowboy hats like mine. One of my neighbours tried to copy me with one of those cheap suede cowboy hats but looks like he quitted.
In the morning when I get to work, people on the bus stop must think I'm weird and some times they see me taking selfies.I get the feeling that people think I'm weird, esp if I wear hats everyday to work, etc. "There goes that guy with the hat".
