Thanks!Whaaaaat?! This hat is perfection. Probably my dream hat! *drool*
Dermotta Wien, 58 cm possibly mid 1950s. The felt finish and hand are excellent plus easily dry creases. The overall workmanship is fantastic which is standard for Dermotta Wien. Unfortunately the paper label is missing.
Open Crown
J. Hückel´s Söhne "Superior" probably 1930s. The felt is great and easily dry creases. The sweatband was replaced and the ribbon / bow wasn't reapplied properly but other than that the it's in good condition. I really like the form and dimensions.
Open Crown
Mike, Thank you! I will wear the JHS "Superior" today. Two incredible black 'bergs Steve. Love the classic lines of the brims. Always living vicariously through your collection.
I never got around to posting this 40's BIG Stetson......big size (7 3/4!) big proportions (2 1/2 brim, 6 inch open crown, 5" as creased, IN FRONT!!!!!!!)
I would say it fits just a litte under 7 3/4...sweat is taped joint but has no Stetson markings....perhaps an old, quite old, replacement....comes in at 2"....liner is perfect save some loss of gold in the logo........the 1 3/4 ribbon as well as the binding is brown with a reddish tint.....definitly stands out! I have a couple of pictures with my mid 50's version (which I need to post sometime) so you can see the differances in the ribbon color and proportions..........The felt is well...PERFECT.......and has a Great hand! Well.......it has not really ever fit me well.....(was sold as a 7 1/2, when the heck do us big heads EVER get a hat that is too big!!) so I am about ready to move it along to the next caretaker.......
Best,
M

It really is. The ribbon looks a lot redder in the pictures, in real life it makes its mark a little more subtly.....much better than the matching varity.....Stunning!

Super Stetson Homburg from the 40s. Excellent shape and contrasting ribbon and binding match. Now, why oh why didn't the hat gods make that your size or mine [emoji4]. Luckily, someone else is going to be the happy owner of that beauty.I never got around to posting this 40's BIG Stetson......big size (7 3/4!) big proportions (2 1/2 brim, 6 inch open crown, 5" as creased, IN FRONT!!!!!!!)

Has Brent PM’d you yet?

Royal Stetson De Luxe St. Regis
I have this hat for sale on eBay
Nice St. Regis, Deadly. Has this sold yet?
Yes, it sold earlier today. I do have the Knox homburg in 7 1/4 still coming.
I’ll have more and better photos once the hat arrives.

Venture into Homburgs, Rmc. Go with the flow brim wise, you'll never regret it [emoji4].Send me the dimensions on the Knox when you get it, Brent. I have not ventured into homburgs yet but that brim looks wide enough to make me comfortable wearing it.
