Looks like a modern, pre-distressed jacket with vintage styling, worn rather longer and fuller than period, perhaps. It's not bad. Kind of looks like a thick tanned lamb like you used to see on adventurer style jackets back in the 1980's.
Dammit - makes me want to get an Aero Rockerfella.
As @willyto stated, Himel made it, best to check with them. Neat jacket, though I wouldn't be surprised to hear the one for the movie (or a series?) is made from lamb or light goat.
Studio production usually gets involved in the actual distressing - sandpaper's a favorite tool. By the drape it's got to be a more supple skin. Looks kind of goat-ish but I've got some ancient thinner calfskin that has sueded the same way. I sent a note to Himel - see what the response is.
