Help with leather jacket to wear with tailoring

I like the short German Luftwaffe jacket combo with plus-fours. Not that I'd be able to rock it, but certainly admire those who do.

@willyto Agreed. What kills the cafe racer for this look for me is particularly the mandarin collar. I had one years ago that I occasionally wore to work, but in the end sold it on because I just couldn't get comfortable with the look of that with a collared shirt. Quite like the minimalism of the right cafe racer type in the abstract, but over a shirt with a collar and tie it looks all wrong to my eye. (Same with a jacket with a Nehru collar and a collared shirt...).
