Help With Jacket ID

Hello leather jacket friends.

Picked this up for $35 because it was fqhh. Was wondering if someone could help with an id or date estimate. I was thinking 40s cause the wool lining. It has a corduroy collar

Fits me pretty well! Not sure what to wear with it yet.

Not sure if it would have had a Sears label or another brand but it was made by Rough Wear. That’s one of their leather labels. It’s late 30’s/early 40’s.
