Help with Aero Leather Jacket Zippers.

First I apologize if my question is redundant, but I have seen on this forum members posting pictures with jackets by 5star leather. They don't look bad at all! I visited their site and I was very surprised at their prices. Their products are priced at least 1/6 less that anything by, say JL, LW, Aero. For sure I love my new JL 4oz CXL HH. It's a beautiful jacket and it's been absolutely great this winter, and my son absolutely enjoys his 5oz LW Test jacket, but it makes me wonder how 5star can price their products as they do.
Is it that the materials are not at the same quality level as the other makers? Is the craftsmanship subpar? Do they outsource their products, say, to Pakistan as Taylor leatherwear have been doing for the last 15 years? A bit...puzzled.
I'm sure a custom made jacket will be priced higher than what shows on their site, but still I don't think it'll be at the level of >$1200.
So anyway, if anyone has experience with 5star and a bit of time to respond it'll be appreciated

I messaged Shawn if the Steerhide was available for this jacket, he said No problem and I added the mouton collar for that "Canuck swag" Now for the trademarked @Carlos840 spraybottle treatment to see if this jacket can blossom.

Might need a little more than a spray bottle can provide. I soaked mine whilst shoveling the last dump of snow we had and it really helped!

Hello all, I just received my first custom made Aero slim fit motorcycle jacket. I completely copied Mr Proper's jacket design because I think it looks amazing., I did tell him about it and we live in diff countries so he was ok with it. The jacket is beautiful, it fits perfect, I love it but I hate the zipper. It takes me on average 5 minutes to zip it. I do know how to work a zipper, You stand arms shoulder length apart, put the male part in the female part and pull upwards or down when removing. The zipper is so small and when I manage to mate the female and male it feels like Im gonna break the zipper when I try to zip upwards. Anybody have this problem ? I don't want to send it back to Scotland, I'm hoping maybe it will become easier with time.
