Help me identify Clive Owen's overcoat from "The International"

In the film "The International" Clive Owen wears what looks to be a long minimalistic button-through raincoat - as opposed to the usual Balmacaan type with hidden buttons under a flap.

Can anyone tell me the make and model?

Just a thought - if you don't have any luck identifying this overcoast here, you might want to post these pictures in the forums over at www.filmjackets.com. They have a couple of guys there that are expert in tracking down clothing that has appeared on the silver screen.

So far, I haven't had much luck in identifying this coat. So, I've put together some images showing the seams at the shoulders, hoping that it can help.

Any suggestions are welcome :)

I would suggest that for an accurate ID you contact the costumer, Ngila Dickson, through her agent Claire Best at 323-601-5001. Anything less would speculation at best.

I have yet to track down that particular model :(

Has anyone seen raincoats/trench coats with similar seam lines around the shoulder/sleeve? (i.e. raglan seam line in the back and straight seam line at the front)

Try the film jackets site. Companies often don't care all that much about what product of theirs is in a film. It's old news and last season or more ago.

I have a feeling that no one would care what brand coat it was if Clive Owen was just a homeless guy. Is it really that special?

I was paying closer attention to the coat than Clive Owen when I watched the movie. :D

I really like the length of the coat, the visible buttons and all the double stitched seam lines along the sleeves and across the back. There are set-in sleeve seam lines at the front and raglan sleeve seam lines on the back.

It seems pretty generic to me. I'm not sure about that exact brand but I've seen similar coats over here for around $200. Poly cotton, light, buttons long... Is it a department store job?
