As an Aussie I'm fascinated by the 2016 US Presidential Election. It's nothing like our election campaigns. It seems that it's nothing like any previous US campaign either!

I've been enjoying watching The Circus: Inside The Greatest Political Show on Earth. Partly because of the 2016 election and partly because of Mark McKinnon's hat

Two of my favorite quotes from Calamity Jane as played by Robin Weigert on HBO's Deadwood series:

"There's someone I need to go kill"..."You are not my target, but keep bothering me and I'll add you to the list."

and

"Excuse my ill humor. Certain people wear on my f***kin' nerves."

Another great quote from her was " Everyday takes figurin' out all over again how to f****n' live " That really hit home.

Between 2010 & 2012 the British art historian, Dr. Gus Casely-Hayford, hosted a very interesting docu-series entitled ' The Lost Kingdoms Of Africa ' in which he visited various countries in Africa to unravel their royal pasts. Anyway, Gus wore a pretty ordinary Aussie leather bush hat throughout the episodes & because he wore it with such a blatant lack of self consciousness, he looked bloody damned good in it. :D

I wasn't aware of this series. What network did this series appear on? Do you know if it can be streamed online anywhere? If it goes back to early civilizations (kingdoms) it sounds like something I would enjoy.

A lovely woman, willing to transform herself into a scruffy character.

It's probably already mentioned, but I went back and started watching James Spader in The Blacklist. He's a bad man with a real love of hats. I have fun just watching to see what hat he's wearing.
