Hey all,

Could anyone please help me ID which model this Harley jacket might be and mainly gauge the age of it? I don't have alot of info aside from the pictures and there doesn't seem to be any other labels inside the jacket unfortunatley.

Main zipper says serval too if that helps.

Appreciate any help or advice!

This label is from 50s and 60s. So called white label. This jacket is the real deal. I have seen this label on many HD cafe racer jackets from the 50s, but first time on a cross zip.

Depending on how early this jacket is, there may be a small white size tag in the front left pocket that will show the size and lot number. Tough to pin down a year on the white label pre-AMF era jackets, but my guess is mid-1960's

Thanks for this @panhead_dave , mid-60s would be cool! Older than i thought. I'll see if I can find anymore labels.

Didn't find much conclusive info online with this particular label, most have amf on them or other labels like you say.

I believe Harley used the "High Quality Fine Workmanship" black label through 1959.
Is this label the one on my jacket or another one you're referring to?

Thanks for the confirmation on it being the cycle champ model too.

Guessing this is some sort of steerhide?

Are these rare or fairly common jackets?

Your jacket is a "white label" pre-AMF era jacket, not a black label pre-1960 (approximate). Here's an example of the black label, borrowed from a friend's website:

I'd guess steerhide based on the graining. I don't know how to define common, but white label Cycle Champs seem to be largely available in most sizes if you're looking.
