Hanging Aero Jackets on hangers. Best hangers for the job?

I used to have a few of the Aero hangers and they would leave indentations on the side of the shoulders on the jacket. It seemed to stick out further since it was a straighter hanger. That was on a size 40 jacket. Maybe it would be okay on a larger jacket with wider shoulders?
Mine is a size 44 and a rockafella, so quite wide shoulders for the size. But it doesn't seem that great either?

i'm no expert, but I wouldn't leave that jacket attached to that hanger if it were mine. You can clearly see where the hanger is putting pressure on the leather and the hanging weight is causing the leather to bulge. What size are your shoulders? Remember, jacket size does not equate to specific shoulder width. In any case, my inexpert opinion is to either use the pool noodles or find an extra wide hanger like the Kirby Allison ones that come in 18.5" or 20" sizes

I would not recommend that type of suit hanger for leather. The area that is circled in red (see photo below) will leave bumps in the upper chest/ outer clavicle area.

In my experience, the hangers below tend to be a better option, since they do not have any protrusions on the front side of the hanger. Depending on your shoulder width, you may need to add foam.

The best ones for me have been the Nakata hanger purchased on Amazon. Here are pictures of the following hangers: Aero, Y'2, Nakata, Schott, Indian, Harley Davidson, Rukka,Belstaff, and a generic wooden Hanger. The Aero hanger has about 3/4"-1" of drop from the inboard ( neck side) to the outboard (shoulder side). It is a very flat profile. Good for a garment with shoulders almost parallel with the ground. Something like a blanket poncho would be a great fit and the flat profile would keep it from sliding off. The Y'2 hanger has 2.5" of shoulder drop. The Schott has 3.1" and the Nakata has 3.25" of drop. Pictures to follow. It may take more than one attempt to load them. The index card represents the neck opening where the hanger will not be touching the jacket.
The first picture is the RUKKA with the Aero on top.

And some showing a jacket. The Aero hangers with the flat profile only make contact of about one inch with the jackets at the outboard shoulder. I tried them on a few sweaters and vests and it didn't fit well with my size small items.

The Nakata has very small branding on the back side. I suppose to get a precise fit that mirrors your specific garment you could wrap the hanger arms with gauze until you get the exact profile. Or simply lay it flat on a table or shelf. That way gravity will not be tugging and stretching it until something end up a bit wonky. Gravity always wins in the end!
