Aero tends to run true to WWII sizing. ELC was making jackets larger a few years ago, but since has changed its patterns to reflect correct sizing. Any concerns I suggest you contact the manufactures directly as Aero and ELC are very customer service orientated and willing to help.

Yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing. I've got to come up with the cash first, then I'll have to decide between an Aero and an Eastman, it looks like... little in it (other than I think the Eastman jackets are maybe the equivalent of about forty buck more expensive), and neither company is easy for me to get to to try on in the shop, so I'm thinking my best bet is probably to keep an eye on thier sales rack and if something that might work comes up give them a phone call...
