Give me your input on this Panama

I just picked this up for $25.00. It comes rolled up in the bamboo case so I know it has to be fairly supple. I couldn't get the seller to take the time to take any close up shots of the weave so it might turn out to be a real cheapo. But for the price it will still make a good summer yard hat even if it's a loser. Any observations by you more astute Panama hat owners please chime in.

I got it off ebay, I was surprised it didn't go higher but maybe that should tell me something. Are Cuenca's floppy enough to roll up or are only Monticristi's that supple?

Your hat is a Cuenca and you can roll it up... The roll up thing is more of a gimmich since the hat looks so much nicer if you just block it and wear it.

I think you did OK, I have a rollup classic style that I took with me and wore while in Mexico this past January. I wore my Camp Draft to Texas but the weather was so nice, my roll up fit the bill. The roll ups do not have the looks of a blocked hat but are nice to have when the need comes up.
I bet the tube is worth what you gave for the hat.
