Mayser in a rich chocolate brown. I understand this to be approximately mid-late 50s. Any insight on what the stamped numbers may be?

Stefan, Here is a R. & M. Wegener advert from 1962 that mentions a "Camber" as a "Classic Theater Hat" so that makes 3 major hat companies (P. & C. Habig Wien, Mayser, Wegener) so far that use the term. I am pretty sure I have seen it used elsewhere so probably more examples will be found.

THE CAMBER 50
WORN BY ACTOR EGON V. JORDAN
So this is the next example for using this term...

Matt, Yes another Camber example and from Austria. It's definitely a brim up style but not as formal as a Homburg. I wonder if "50" is the year -> 1950? If so it would be earlier. By the way I have some interesting information on the Homburg that I need to post.

An excellent piece! Glad to see you've acquired it, Steve. Good to see another "camber" mention as well.

Found this German Hückel brand Fedora manufactured in Czechoslovakia for a Finnish retailer! I don't know much about fedora hats (My first ever!); which era would this be?

Super! J. Hückel´s Söhne (JHS) main factory in Nový Jičín, Czechoslovakia (was Neutitschein, Austria up to WWI) became Tonak Factory 1 after WWII. All Hat Factories in Czechoslovakia were nationalized as Tonak but only two survived (Janyška was Factory 2). Your hat is the from 1950s. Is the liner stitched or glued in? Would be great to see more detailed photos of the exterior. Front and side views. Also the sweatband logos and rear bow. You can read more here about JHS here. There is info on Tonak and Janyška if you search.
