Steve, Thanks! If I put the JHS "Superior" "Crystall Velour" in direct sunlight it would turn metallic like the flash photo. Both super examples of pre war JHS quality, Steve. Everyone should have at least one or two in their collection. Outstanding hats.

Steve, Thanks again! They are difficult to photograph. They also look different (compared to the photos) to my eye but that could be brain processing. It's just fantastic to see how the wonderful workmanship on the velour felt is captured in all kinds of lighting, Steve. That super silver sheen is breathtaking.

Congrats Pellie, two very nice looking Peschels. It is indeed a hat not often seen on the market. When one does come up, grab it. These two suit you very well indeed.Today i received 2 brown beauties from Peschel. These stingy brims from Peschel are hard to find. Great hats for little money i had to pay. Sometimes you have to be lucky! View attachment 180529 View attachment 180530 View attachment 180531 View attachment 180532 View attachment 180533 View attachment 180534

Thanks for the extra photos. Nice examples. I don't think I've ever seen a Peschel trilby before. Now I've seen two. Congrats again, Pellie.
