The Mountain Parka is a Monitaly staple, based on a time-honoured North American design with exceptional attention to detail, including articulated shoulders, taped seams and leather hardware. Made from premium US made lightly waxed cotton, this is a truly exceptional piece of outerwear. This jacket is always a reminder and even proof to me of how American made garments can rival Japanese brands typically known for their meticulous craftsmanship.

This one for sale here is an especially rare one in that It's the early sample before Monitaly formally launched the mountain parka. so many details on this jacket, I like it
so much that I also have another one in size 40 that fits me. size 42 is too large and too long in arms for me at 175lbs/80kg 5'9"/175cm. This mountain parka is being offered by Monitaly for almost every seasons since it was first lauched, and currently retails for $1210.

besides some normal stains usually associated with waxed cotton, the jacket is in great, practically flawless condition. zipper works fine, no fraying on zipper cloth at all.

- 8 oz flare orange waxed cotton (thicker than current 6.25oz model)
- camo color heavy weight wool blanket body & hood lining, satin sleeve lining
- leather washer reinforcement snaps
- gusseted exterior pockets also wool blanket lined and vertical zippered pocket on the
front and back
- three horizontal interior pockets
- #10 heavy gauge YKK two-way front zipper
- three snap cuff adjustment
- spare replacement hardware
- decorative western yoke
- elow patched with same material wool blanket & waxed cotton

Note: It's actually a raglan construction, and the shoulder seams is a resulf of double layer reinforcement, however, I still provide the measurements which I think is useful in determining fit and sizing. For further reference, I am 175lbs/80kg 5'9"/175cm 42inch chest, 34inch waist, wears s size 40.
