Currently I am selling three A2 jackets, they are all warhorse horsehide, warhorse is not really the horse attending the war but a trademark of eastman, meaning that the hide has more grain and has stronger aging effect, two of them have contract number 27752, one with official back painting is 28557, all of them are rough wear original contracts, which means that they are the replica of the original roughwear a-2 jackets, very classic
if anyone interested in purchasing from Eastman website ( not from me), I would recommend purchase from original makers (as explaining above) , Elite Units ( the back painting version A-2 jackets for which Eastman acquire the original jackets with story behind each during wwii and reproduce it, which usually are washed for fast aging and hand paint the back painting. I could confirm that these back paintings are hand paint because i have some hands on experience of mine and also my friends jackets that even the same size the paintings size, color, position varries a bit. So giving that different aging and hand painting each jacket is very unique
Another model recommended is r.a.f. I never bought this one before, but it has rather good reputation among my friends, you could consider that too. Eastman also lists models of jackets they produced for the movies, I didnt buy that but you could consider that too.

Eastman would only provide whistles for their elite units, if you want a whistle for your A2 jacket, purchase from

eastman used their whistle
All of my three A-2 jackets are size 44, which suit people of normally wearing size 42 jackets, because A-2 jacket we would prefer loose fit, so size 44 has measurement chest 116cm, shoulder 50cm, sleeve and body length 63cm would suit me with body measurement height 180cm, weight 80kg, chest 103cm, shoulder 49cm.
If you browse the official website there is a size calculator would give you roughly the same result (take 1 size larger) too.
I think the cutting of 27752 is the best because its invert triangle V-shape cutting looks better. Especially for the first time to buy Eastman A-2 jacket, 27752 is the most secured model, and 28557 has a slightly longer body length than 27752 but basically the similar cutting, if you are taller, 28557 would suit you better
Additional information, for 1401p (flying tiger) the room for sleeve is narrower especially the forearm, and 23382 cutting more square-shape.
The following are my eastman 27752 jackets
the first one is the one that I washed, for fast aging, the result is really great, I have post a review for this one before in fdl, but I cant find it currently
the second one is also 27752, with golden whistle from ACME, no washed
